Baseball P.E.I.

MacLean had two hits in three at-bats and scored two runs in P.E.I.’s 6-2 win over Manitoba at the 2017 Canadian 18-under championship. It was the opening round-robin game for both teams.
Josh Myers (1-3, walk, run scored, run batted in), Connor Jones (1-4, two runs scored), Ben MacDougall (1-4, run scored), Logan MacDougall (1-4, double, RBI), Dawson McCormack (1-1, two walks, double, RBI) and Bret Cheverie (1-4, RBI) also recorded hits for P.E.I.
Logan MacDougall earned the pitching win in relief of McCormack. Jacob Gallant also worked an inning for P.E.I., which plays the host team and Saskatchewan on Friday.
