MacDougall recorded eight strikeouts while recording the pitching win, and delivering a bases-loaded-clearing triple in the first inning to spark the Chevys to a 15-7 road win over the Cornwall Cougars.
The P.E.I. Bantam AA Baseball League game was played at the Cornwall Sports Complex recently.
Liam Greenan had a 4-for-5 batting summary to lead the Chevys offensively. Other top batters for Summerside, which recorded a season-high 19 hits, were Caron (3-3, double), MacDougall (2-4), Zach Costain (2-4) and Murray (2-5).
Connor Hennessey (3-4, double) and Jonathon Rodriguez (1-2, walk) were tops at the plate for the Cougars.
Cameron Murray and Justin Caron combined for eight strikeouts in relief of MacDougall. Mitchell Schut was the pitcher of record for Cornwall.
