Junior Islanders seeking wins in New Brunswick this weekend

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – The P.E.I. Junior Islanders hit the road this weekend for four games in New Brunswick Junior Baseball League action.

The Islanders (4-4) are in Fredericton, N.B., today to take on the Royals (2-6) in a doubleheader starting at noon. Connor Jones and Nolan Hicken are expected to get the starts on the hill for P.E.I.

Sunday, the Isles head to Chatham for two games with the Ironmen (5-4), starting at 11 a.m. Brett Hicken and Porter Smith are the probable starters for PEI.

With the league standings tightly packed, the Islanders are looking for a big weekend, to keep pace.
