Gallant’s strong pitching sparks Chevys

CORNWALL – A strong pitching performance by Tyler Gallant sparked the Summerside Chevys to a 14-7 road win over the Cornwall Cougars in a recent P.E.I. Midget A Baseball League game.

Gallant registered six strikeouts over four innings in the contest, which was played at the Terry Fox Sports Complex and was called after five innings due to darkness.
Parker Gallant had a 3-for-3 batting summary, including a triple, double, two runs scored and a run batted in, to lead the Chevys at the plate. Dylan Gilfoy (1-2, double, run scored, two runs batted in) was Summerside’s other top hitter.
For Cornwall, Ethan MacLean (1-1, triple, run scored, two runs batted in) and Connor Hennessey (1-2, run scored, two runs batted in) were tops at the plate.
