SUMMERSIDE – Riley Gallant and Drew Cormier paced the Summerside Team One Chevys to an 11-1 victory over the Western Mariners in a P.E.I. Peewee A Baseball League game on Wednesday evening.

The contest, played at Queen Elizabeth Park’s Very Important Volunteer Field, was called after five innings due to the mercy rule.
Gallant earned the pitching win and contributed a 2-for-2 batting summary, which included a walk and two runs batted in. Drew Cormier also had a perfect night at the dish, going 3-for-3 and plating three runs.
Top batters for the Mariners were Cameron Gavin (1-3, walk) and Noah Perry (1-2).
Wyatt Wedge was the pitcher of record for Western.
