Chevys’ rally falls just short

SUMMERSIDE – A four-run rally in the last inning by the Summerside Team One Chevys fell just short.

The visiting Kensington Crusaders held on to win the P.E.I. Mosquito AA Baseball League game by a score of 8-7 at Queen Elizabeth Park’s Gordie Arsenault Field on Thursday evening.
Owen Killam (triple, single), Tristan MacLeod (triple, single) and Matthew MacDonald (double, single) swung hot bats for the Crusaders.
Grayson Arsenault (double, single) and Karli Snow (two singles) were Summerside’s leading hitters.
Issac Clark earned the pitching win while Arsenault was the pitcher of record for Summerside.
