CORNWALL – Josh Burgess led the Eastern Express to a close victory over the Mid-Isle Mustangs on Tuesday.
Burgess earned the pitching win while contributing a 3-for-4 batting summary, including a double, as the Express pulled out a 7-6 road victory in the P.E.I. Peewee AAA Baseball League game at the Terry Fox Sports Complex.
Josh O’Neill took the pitching loss while Grayson LaPorte, Dominik Pineau and Tyler Wood all went 1-for-3 at the plate for Mid-Isle.
