TIGNISH – Brayden Handrahan scored once and assisted on two others in sparking the Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces to a 7-4 victory over the Summerside Cover-All Construction Crunch on Sunday night.
The Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League game was played at the Tignish Credit Union Arena.
Dawson Sellick (1-1), Matt Bowness, Colton Chaisson, Jayden Arthur, Drake Smallman and Brydon Smith also lit the lamp for the Aces, who improved to 16-7-2 (won-lost-overtime losses).
James Briand (2), Remi Arsenault and Brandon Arsenault replied for the Crunch (10-14-1).
The Aces built period leads of 2-1 and 4-2.
Overall, Tignish outshot Summerside 37-21, including an 18-6 advantage in the opening 20 minutes. Kristen Clements earned the goaltending win.
