CHARLOTTETOWN – The best-of-seven Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League championship series will open on Friday night.

The Tignish Perry’s Construction Aces will visit the Sherwood-Parkdale Metros in Game 1 at the Cody Banks Arena. The opening faceoff is set for 7:20 p.m.
Game 2 is scheduled for the Tignish Credit Union Arena on Sunday at 6:30 p.m.
The series features the top two teams in the regular season, and both the Aces and Metros swept their respective best-of-five semifinal series after receiving a first-round bye. The Aces eliminated the defending-champion Southside Lynx while the Metros ended the season of the Summerside Cover-All Construction Crunch.
The winning team will represent P.E.I. at the Maritime Hockey North junior C championship tournament, which will be hosted by the Lynx at the South Shore Actiplex in Crapaud from April 4 to 8.
