SASKATOON -- Ontario 4 scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie P.E.I. ScotiaBank Reds Monday in Saskatoon and then scored the winning run in the extra inning for a 6-5 win in what was the opening game for both teams at the Women’s Under 18 Fast Pitch Nationals.

Ontario had spotted the P.E.I. team a 3-0 lead through four innings before staging their comeback win.
P.E.I. scattered 12 hits for five runs in the game while Ontario counted six runs on six hits.
Alyssa Fleming pitched a complete game for the Reds allowing six hits and two walks and striking out nine Ontario batters.
P.E.I. was to play Quebec in an evening game Monday, the opening day of the national tournament.
Against Ontario. Jada Yeo led the way for P.E.I. at the plate, hitting 4-5 and scoring two runs and an RBI. Emily Cairns went 2-3 with two runs batted in, Rebecca Palmer was 2-4 and Clara Jane Wood went 2-5 with one RBI.
