Since the launch of the project in the fall of 2012, Islanders have reported more than 1600 sightings of red foxes.
The research team is collecting this data in an attempt to better understand P.E.I. foxes and potential threats to the species.
The data already provided has allowed the researchers to discover areas of high fox activities in urban areas, including several dens, and earmark sites for future observation and research.
Reporting a fox takes only moments and all Islanders with access to the Internet are encouraged to participate.
