Belfast takes over first place in junior C league

BELFAST – The Belfast Sabres have taken over sole possession of first place in the Razzy’s P.E.I. Junior C Hockey League.

The Sabres pulled out a 4-3 shootout win over the Souris Hawks at the Belfast Recreation Centre on Sunday night.

The win improves Belfast’s record to 14-3-1 (won-lost-overtime/shootout losses), two points ahead of the Southside Lynx (12-2-3). Souris fell to 8-6-2.
