SUMMERSIDE – This Saturday evening, the musical group, Full Circle, will be presenting a concert at Summerside Presbyterian Church at 7:30 p.m.
Full Circle is a Summerside area band consisting of (front, from left) Deanna Heckbert, Lurlean Palmer, Vicki MacLean, Bob MacLean, (back) Roy Arsenault, and Mark Robichaud.
Full Circle is a local band offering country, folk, and songs from the 1970s as well as some original songs the members have written.
The band consists of Deanna Heckbert, Lurlean Palmer, Vicki MacLean, Bob MacLean, Roy Arsenault, and Mark Robichaud.
They promise a fun evening of music from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
The group started quite by accident in November 2010 after Vicki and Bobby MacLean hosted a Halloween party for the neighbourhood in their garage. The girls had a terrific time singing together that night, and soon after were striving to learn how to sing and play instruments including guitar, mandolin, bass, fiddle, harmonica, keyboards etc. They started writing original songs and performing for friends, neighbours and at family events, all for fun and enjoyment.
Bob and Roy eventually joined in to get in on the musical fun, providing experienced lead guitar and bass. Recently Mark joined to add drums to the mix.
The band enjoys broadening their experience and challenging themselves by occasionally playing for community events, so they are excited to be able to participate and support the Presbyterian Church fundraiser on Oct. 26.
Tickets are $10 and will be available at the door of the church, located at 130 Victoria Rd., Summerside.
