Disappointed with changes

Published on July 22, 2014

To the editor,
For seven years now the Borden-Carleton Seniors’ Club has been using the services of our Consolidated Credit Union, and during this time we enjoyed a great rapport with this branch.

We got to know all the very competent tellers through the years, to enjoy daily services offered by the branch, to obtain rolled coinage when we required it and to solve a financial problem when posed.

Now we must drive 30 kilometres to Summerside if we require coinage and we now find that the ‘human element’ has been lost at our local branch. We deal with machines not people for the most part.

It's certainly a disappointment for we older people who don’t always take to change. Things were going so smoothly; thre wasn’t a hitch. Maybe we didn’t realize how fortunate we were all these years.

Consolidated Credit Union in Borden-Carleton, we are disappointed!
