1935-2018 At the Maplewood Manor, Alberton, on Saturday, February 10, 2018, of Shirley Mary Fraser, of Alberton, age 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Dale Fraser. Born at Lot 11, P.E.I., on August 18, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Gertrude (nee Connelly) Laird. She is survived by a cousin, Lyle Gavin, of Alberton, with whom she resided for many years, and by her nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law. She was predeceased by siblings, Dorothy (late Cecil) Skerry, Jack Laird and Eckard Laird. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton. Funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 4 p.m., from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Andrew MacDonald officiating. Interment later in the Sacred Heart Church Cemetery. www.rooneyfh.ca
