Peacefully at Palliative Care Unit of Community Hospital, O’Leary on Tuesday August 14, 2018 surrounded by her loving family of Shirley M. Ellsworth, St Edward aged 75 years. Beloved wife of Richard Ellsworth. She was born in Bedeque on August 12, 1943, the daughter of the late Emmanuel and Susan (Doucette) Chaisson. Loving mother to Gail (Floyd), Tignish; Darryl (Darlene), St. Lawrence; Shelley (Rodney), Oromocto; Tammy (Kevin), Charlottetown and Scott (Matt), Calgary. Cherished grandmother to Nicole, Elmer, Lacey, Jeff, Brydon, Megan, Ryan and great grandmother to Abby, Jacie-Lynn, Kora-Lee, Skylar, Kolby, Brooklyn, Jarren and Jace. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters Don (Nellie), St. Edward; Julie (Raymond), Hamilton, On. George (Betty), Tignish; Blanche (Ivan), Hamilton, On. and Terry (Maureen), Tignish. She was predeceased by parents Emmanuel and Susan, daughter Roxanne, twin granddaughters Krissy and Jennifer. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visiting hours Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral will be held Friday August 17, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road with funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to Immaculate Conception Church Repair Fund or Cemetery Fund would be greatly appreciated.
