Norma Elaine Dickieson

We are saddened to announce the passing of Norma Elaine Dickieson, on September 13, 2018, at her home, The Mount Continuing Care Community, formerly of New Glasgow, P.E.I., aged 65. She was the daughter of the late Leith and Phyllis (Ling) Dickieson. Norma is survived by her brothers, Ian (Janet Lester) and Kevin (Danielle Bedard); nieces and nephews, Lindsay, Dale (Lyndsey), Ellan (Robert), Sarah (Kyle) and Tyler; grandnephews and grandniece, Jackson, Cole, Drew and Dorothea; aunt, Joyce Coles (Keith); special great-aunt, Myrtle Wigmore; and numerous cousins and extended family. Besides her parents, Norma was predeceased by her sister, Janet. Norma will be deeply missed by all who became part of her family while residing at Rosewood Residence and more recently, The Mount. Her daily challenges with Myotonic Dystrophy did not stop her from making the most of any day. Norma’s determination to go forward every day was an inspiration to everyone she met. Resting at Central Queen’s Funeral Home, 2538 Glasgow Road, New Glasgow, for visitation on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at New Glasgow Christian Church, on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 2 p.m. Interment in New Glasgow Cemetery.
