Maurice Allan (Moe) Getson

1964-2018 The death occurred suddenly at North Cape, P.E.I., on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, of Maurice Allan (Moe) Getson, of Tignish, P.E.I., aged 54 years. Born at Alberton on May 21, 1964, he was the son of the late Sidney and Sylvia (nee Gaudet) Getson of Greenmount. Dear brother of Ernest (Shirley) of Tignish Shore, Charlotte of Grand Prairie, Alta., Stewart (Beverley) of Tignish, Warren (Karen) of Millvillage, N.S., Freida (John) Peters of Rustico, Jamie (Angie) of Alma and Gordon (Carol Ann) of Kildare. Stepson to Aldona (Blair) Rayner of the Rayner Road. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews Chelsey, Tahnia, Sammie, Aiden, Isabella, Kaitlyn, Alecia, James, Sydney, Ben, Samuel and Isaac. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton, for visiting hours Friday 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral Saturday afternoon from the E. Gerald Rooney Memorial Chapel for funeral service at 3 p.m., Rev. Gordon Weatherby officiating. Interment in the Greenmount Church of Christ Cemetery.
