Mary Palma Allan

1940-2018 The death occurred at the QEII Health Centre, Halifax, N.S. on Friday, July 6, 2018, of Mary Palma Gallant, of Piusville, age 77 years. Beloved wife of the late Ronald W. Allan, who predeceased her in 2002. Born at Piusville, P.E.I. on November 2, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Anthony (Ted) and Ida Mary (nee Arsenault) Gallant. Cherished mother to Merina (late Simon Walsh) Allan of Waterdown, Ont., Lawrence (Cindy) Allan of Hamilton, Ont., and Harry (Carolyn) Allan of Red Rock, Ont. Loving Nana to Jason, Jessica and Joshua. Dear sister to Peter (Aldona) Gallant of Piusville, Francis (Joanne) of Toronto, Theresa (late Oscar) Gallant of Alberton, Elmer (Florence) Gallant of Saint John, N.B., Shirley (Norm) Myers of Toronto, Ont., and Merina (late Wayne) Barclay of Calgary. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Leona Gallant of Alberton. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by brothers, Rev. Lawrence Gallant OFM, and Clarence Gallant, and by a sister, Delia (late Wilfred) Gallant. Resting at the Rooney Funeral Home & Chapel, Alberton. Visiting hours Tuesday July 10, 2018, from 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral on Wednesday July 11, 2018, from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Woodstock for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m., Rev.
