The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday June 7, 2018, with her loving family by her side, of Florrie Mills, of Miminegash aged 81 years. Beloved wife of John Mills. She was born in Miminegash on May 9, 1937, the daughter of the late Howard and Edna (Gallant) McCormick. She is survived by sons Ross McCormick, Alberton, Chuckie Mills (Tina), Wellington, Dennis Mills (Ronda), Mill River East. Loving grandmother to Kailey, Kortney, Jack and Jessie. Dear sister to Nora McNally (Frank), Florida, Doris Doucette (Leo Jr.), Summerside, Everett McCormick (Marlene), St. Lawrence, Kay Gallant (Alfred), Miminegash, Elmer McCormick (Crystal), Alberton. She is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law Kay Forrest, Terry Mills, Harley Mills, Douglas Mills, Brian Mills, Billy Mills, Robbie Mills, Donald Mills, Gail LeBlanc, Ann Mills, Lynn Caraquet and Georgie Mills. She was predeceased by parents Howard and Edna, sister Millie Deagle, sister-in-law Loretta Ryan. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, 522 Thompson Road for visitation Monday from 7-9 p.m. for family and friends. Funeral will be held Tuesday June 12, 2018 at Immaculate Conception Church, Palmer Road at 10:30 a.m. Memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
