Benjamin Irwin Rayner

Benjamin Irwin “B.I.” Rayner, 76, of Summerside, P.E., passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with cancer on 12 January 2018 at Hospice Prince Edward in Picton, ON. B.I. is survived by his wife, Diane M. Rayner of Foxboro ON, her children Mark (Nancy) McDermott and Kim (Ryan) Brower. He is also survived by his three daughters, Laurie Anne Langford (Brad) of Chatham, ON; Tracy Bachellier (Dean) of Stratford, ON; and Kelly Hewitt (Steve) of Ottawa, ON; and their mother Sandra Birch (Frank Gaasenbeek), also of Stratford, ON; as well as his sisters Louise Drummond (Lowell) of Freetown, P.E.; Rena Rayner-Jones (Tom) of Green Valley, ON; Joan Peters (Leo-predeceased) of Charlottetown, P.E.; and his many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father B.I. Rayner, mother Marguerite (Arsenault) Rayner Holloway, and his brother Randall. B.I. will be missed by his many relatives and friends in Prince Edward Island and Ontario. May he rest in peace.
