SUMMERSIDE – Summerside Police Services tracked two suspects to a local business and found them attempting to break and enter into a utility shed.
Around 1 a.m. on Thursday, Summerside Police received a 911 call reporting two suspicious men that were on the property of a business on Water Street East.
Police patrolled the area, but the suspects had left prior to police arrival. Officers were then able to track the suspects to another business that was nearby and found the two attempting to break into a utility trailer.
Both men were arrested at the scene and will appear in court at a later date to answer to charges of attempted break and enter along with possession of break-in instruments.
