Parks Canada will be renewing and upgrading roadway signage in the P.E.I. National Park in the coming weeks.

Work will be focused on the Cavendish, North Rustico, Stanhope and Dalvay areas of the park and will continue until at least May 11, weather permitting.

Further work may also occur as needed in the late summer/early fall.

It’s part of a redevelopment project to improve infrastructure and enhance visitor experience. Work will take place along the shoulder of roads and will involve some tree trimming and removal. While there will be no lane closures, work zones along roadways will be identified with construction signs and vehicles with flashing amber lights.

For more information, contact the P.E.I. National Park at 902-672-6350 or by email at [email protected].
