The search for two missing fishermen off North Cape, P.E.I. is being scaled back over the next day or two due to inclement weather.
RCMP, along with Ground Search and Rescue and community members in Prince County have been conducting the search for Glen DesRoches, 57, the captain of the lobster fishing boat the Kyla Anne, and his longtime first mate, Moe Getson, 54, who are presumed drowned after their boat capsized Sept. 18.
Police say inclement weather in the area has resulted in the search being scaled back in the next day or two.
Weather will continue to play a factor in the ability to conduct any activities, but when weather permits, regular recovery surveillance will take place with the hopes of providing closure to the families.
The RCMP ask that any information or evidence possibly related to the missing men be relayed to police.
