Pirates take over Alberton Elementary

ALBERTON

Following performances for their schoolmates and for visiting students, the students of Alberton Elementary School will open up their treasure chests Friday evening for family and friends.

A cast of 17 actors and actresses, supported by close to 80 singers and dancers, will present, ‘Pirates and Other Treasures,’ in the school gymnasium at 6 p.m. They’ve been preparing for this opportunity since January.

The story revolves around a Lost Boy who very much wants to become a pirate. The real pirates do not immediately welcome him aboard their pirate ship, but he persists.
