Man faces drunk-driving charges after Charlottetown car crash

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. – A 27-year-old man faces impaired driving charges after crashing his vehicle while allegedly drunk.

Charlottetown police were called to the Beach Grove Road area early Sunday morning after receiving reports of an erratic driver who was involved in a single-vehicle crash.

Officers located the suspect vehicle and determined the driver was impaired.

The accused will appear in court at a later date to answer to the charge.
