SUMMERSIDE – Edward James Strongman, 27, of Wellington, has pleaded guilty to one count of assault, two counts of uttering a threat, one count of carrying a weapon dangerous to the public; a knife.
The charges are from various dates in August 2018 and took place in Summerside.
Strongman was sentenced to serve 33 days in jail but received credit for 19 days he’s already served since his arrest. He also received permission to serve his jail time intermittently. He must also serve 24 months of probation and pay $400 in victim surcharges. He is also prohibited from owning firearms for three years.
