Environment Canada is predicting a mix of weather today, with sun and cloud most of the day, with a small chance of flurries starting early afternoon.

Winds are expected to be from the southwest gusting to 40 kilometers per hour and temperatures slowly climbing to +3C by mid-afternoon. 

It will likely be back to the deep freeze Saturday, with gusty northwest winds, highs at only -6 and nighttime lows in the minus double digits.

The Confederation Bridge is currently open to all traffic with no warnings.

FlyPEI shows all arrivals on time, but one departure is having a delay. Air Canada 7519 from Charlottetown to Toronto is showing a half-hour delay. Check the airport web site for updates.

On P.E.I. today, early morning temperatures ranged from a high of +1.8 at East Point, to a low of -1.6 at Maple Plains.

WEATHER TODAY: 

    A mix of sun and cloud with a small percent chance of flurries this afternoon.

    TEMPERATURE: Up to +3 by around 2 p.m.

    WIND: Southwest, gusting to 40, becoming west gusting to 40 this afternoon.
