Construction of the new water features at Legere Park in Summerside is set to begin in earnest in the coming days.
The City of Summerside is installing several new splash park features, a concession stand and updating some of the other play areas and landscaping. The park is currently closed but will reopen to the public on Aug. 10. Improvements are also scheduled to begin shortly at Billy Bridges Park on Notre Dame Street, including the addition of new wheel-chair accessible playground equipment.
