Summerside Police has obtained a warrant of arrest for 26-year old Kyle Champion of Summerside in relation to a home invasion that occurred on July 29.

While the department has the warrant, it does not have Champion.

He is the third and final suspect being sought by police in relation to the incident where forced entry was made into a First Street apartment and the occupant assaulted.  Champion is charged with break and enter into the residence and also with assault with a weapon, said a statement issued today by Summerside Police.

Police have already arrested the other two suspects.  One was released without charge and the second, a 22-year-old Summerside-area woman, is charged with break and enter into the residence and will be appearing in court at a later date to answer to the charge.

Anyone with information on Champion’s whereabouts is asked to call the Summerside Police Service at 902-432-1201, or for a possible cash reward, make anonymous contact with Crime Stoppers on the Internet or on Facebook, or by anonymous text message on Apple iOS or Android-based devices, or with a toll-free call to 1-877-222-8477.
