Milton Station, P.E.I. - A woman from Stratford was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a single vehicle collision on Saturday evening.
RCMP said the vehicle struck a pole on Route 7, between Route 256 and Route 2, at approximately 4 p.m.
Maritime Electric attended the scene to the fix the pole, and restored the power within three hours.
Police noted that there was ice on the road at the time of the collision.

The RCMP said in a press release they closed Route 7 for the next couple of hours, between Route 256 and Route 2.
Police have not given a reason for the road closure in Milton Station, but thank drivers for their cooperation and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
