Holland College says supports are available on campus after the sudden death of a student in one of its Charlottetown residences on Thursday.
The death occurred Thursday afternoon at Glendenning Hall. No further details were released, but police said there was no danger to the public and no foul play is suspected.
“College counsellors and staff have been on site to provide support and reassurance to our students during this difficult time,” said a statement from the college.
“The college is working to support the student’s family.”
The college is also not providing any further details due to privacy policies and out of respect for the grieving family.
Flags on all Holland College campuses were lowered to half-mast Friday.
