High Pressure Homer opened at Britannia Hall in Tyne Valley on May 21. The final show on their schedule is set for June 10.

This year’s cast includes several veteran performers, including Marie Barlow in her 36th character role, this time as Mrs. Cora Woodruff, and Mike Ford, whose wily stage presence keeps audiences coming back.

Holding down lead roles this year are Lisa MacDougall as Minna Woodruff, Jeff Noye as Wade Wainwright and Terry Doran in the title role as Homer Hampton Haywood.

Homer’s endless get-rich schemes, Minna’s love of funerals and Homer and Wade’s romantic interests in Arlene Woodruff (Rachel Noye) keep the laughs rolling.
