Three men who were not supposed to be driving were pulled over by Summerside Police over the weekend.
The first incident was 1:30 a.m., Friday, when police stopped a vehicle in a Granville Street parking lot. The 24-year-old, Summerside area, driver was prohibited from driving anywhere in Canada.
He was arrested, charged and will appear in court at a later date.
Then at 12:30 a.m., Saturday, police stopped a vehicle on Water Street that had committed an undisclosed traffic infraction. The 62-year-old, Summerside area, driver was not allowed to be driving.
He will appear in court at a later date.
A third driver was stopped on Read Drive, Sunday afternoon.
The 57-year-old Summerside area man was pulled over because police recognized him and knew he wasn’t allowed to be driving.
He was stopped, ticketed and his vehicle impounded for 60 days.
