The company has partnered with the Kensington North Watersheds Association and the Bedeque Bay Environmental Association through its Good Growth Plan.
The initiative means $25,000 in annual funding for the groups.
“Over the last few years, we have worked with both the Bedeque Bay and Kensington North organizations on projects that recognize the importance of and support the stewardship of these watersheds and we are very pleased to be able to extend our partnership,” said Chris Davison, head of corporate affairs with Syngenta Canada.
The 2014/2015 funding will be used to help with the restoration of riparian habitat, biodiversity enhancement, restore fish passages and educating rural landowners.
