HUNTER RIVER, P.E.I. – Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in a gas station robbery in Hunter River early Saturday morning.

Queens District RCMP responded to a report of a robbery at the Irving in Hunter River just after 4 a.m.

Police say the same person suspected in this robbery is also believed to be involved in similar incidents at the Travellers Inn on Route 2 near St. Eleanors and another at the Reads Corner Esso in Summerside.

The male suspect was wearing a bandana over the lower portion of his face, had a hand in his pocket and demanded cash. He wore the same clothes in all three alleged robberies.

No one was harmed in any of the three incidents.

Police are asking anyone who might have been in the area and using a dash cam on their vehicles may have information that could be useful.

The public can contact the RCMP or provide information anonymously via P.E.I. Crime Stoppers.
