Single vehicle crash claims life, three others injured

MOUNT TRYON – One person is dead, and three others have been sent to hospital following a fatal crash in Mount Tryon on Wednesday evening.

A 17-year-old girl from Rustico was killed and pronounced dead at the scene while three other occupants were sent to Prince County Hospital with minor injuries.

Island EMS Borden-Carleton Fire Department and Island RCMP responded to the single vehicle accident at around 5:50 p.m.

An RCMP traffic analyst attended the scene and the investigation is still on-going to determine the cause of the collision.
