Search underway for missing swimmer near Crowbush golf course

A search and rescue operation is underway near the Rodd Crowbush Golf and Beach Resort after a report of a 69-year-old woman with multiple sclerosis was reported missing.

A Search and Rescue helicopter searches for a missing swimmer near the Rodd  Crowbush Golf and Beach Resort 

 

Maj. Martell Thompson with the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax confirmed the RCMP requested support after a report the woman went for a swim and was presumed missing.

The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre dispatched a Cormorant helicopter to help with the search.
