RCMP investigating ATV and dirt bike damage to Tignish sports field

West Prince RCMP are asking for the public’s help following two incidents of vandalism at Tignish Elementary.

RCMP said that on Sept. 11 and 12 officers were called to the school following reports of ATV and dirt bike activity.

On both dates, the operators of the vehicles damaged a chain link fence to gain access to the fields and then “extensively” damaged the turf.

Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact the West Prince RCMP at 902-853-9300, or provide information anonymously via P.E.I.
