"Bucko" is going to jail for spray-painting his graffiti tag on more private property in Summerside.
Spencer Anthony Bridges, 27, Summerside, recently pleaded guilty to two counts of mischief for damaging property that is not his.
Bridges spray-painted his tag "Bucko" onto a City of Summerside utility pole and an exterior wall belonging to a downtown restaurant.
He was sentenced to serve 12 days in jail and received credit for four days he has already spent in custody.
He must also serve 12 months of probation and pay $200 in victim surcharges.
Bridges was first caught tagging a building in May. In late July, he was given a suspended sentence and a year of probation, part of which required him to do 100 hours of community service by helping to remove graffiti tags in the city.
He was almost immediately caught again, on July 29, tagging a telephone pole. He was caught a third time, along with an 18-year-old woman, on Sept. 14, tagging the roof of a downtown Summerside business, which faces the Summerside Police Services offices.
Summerside has been plagued by graffiti in recent months, with two tags - "Bucko" and "Tekoe" - in particular dominating the landscape.
