Police raid at Summerside business finds “edibles”

SUMMERSIDE, P.E.I. – A drug raid at a business here has put police in possession of what is being called edibles believed to be infused with marijuana.

Also scooped up in the Monday raid was marijuana bud and hashish, allege police in a report issued today.

Summerside Police Service, assisted by the RCMP Prince District Joint Forces Operations (JFO) Drug Unit, conducted the raid.

The man who owned the business was taken to jail but later released.

The investigation continues and charges will be laid at a later date, said police.
