Corey Gordon Falls ordered to stay away from hangaround club members

CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. - A man alleged to be a member of a Hells Angels hangaround club in Charlottetown was sentenced to 90 days in jail for uttering a threat.

Corey Gordon Falls, 29, will also be placed on probation after the sentence, which he will serve on weekends.

He pleaded guilty Monday to uttering a threat on Feb. 14, breaching an undertaking and attempting to obstruct justice.

He was also sentenced to 90 days in jail on the second and third charges but will serve the sentences concurrently. He was given credit of 10 days for time already served so he has 80 days left to spend at the Provincial Correctional Centre.

The court heard Falls sent threatening text messages to a man that included “talk shit, get hit’’ as well as “just remember my face when you walk around the corner…my firepower is greater than yours.’’

Falls was ordered to stay away from the man he threatened and to refrain from having any contact with members of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club of Canada, Woodbridge Motorcycle Club of Ontario, and Charlottetown Prospects of the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club of Canada.

He was handed a five-year weapons prohibition and must pay a $200 surcharge on each of his three convictions.

He will be subject to the electronic surveillance program if so directed by his probation officer.

Falls was one of nine alleged members of a Hells Angels hangaround club in Charlottetown charged last year with taking money for games of chance without a lottery licence. Those charges are still before the court.

A numbered company lists 205 Fitzroy St., the location of the hangaround clubhouse, as its address on the corporate registry with Corey Falls as president/vice-president.
