No change to P.E.I. gas prices

The Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission was one day late delivering its mid-month price adjustment after the winter storm earlier this week closed the office for two days.

The news, when it came, is that there is no news.

There will be no change in the price of gasoline, diesel, furnace oil, stove oil or propane.

Pump prices for regular, unleaded gas at self-serve outlets will continue to range from $105.5 per litre to $106.6.

The maximum price before tax for furnace oil will continue at 79.4 cents per litre.

The commission’s next scheduled price adjustment will be March 1.
