Meth, cocaine and marijuana seized from Wellington home

Two people from Wellington have been arrested following drug raid in that community.

The Prince District Joint Forces Operation Unit, which is made up of officers from RCMP, Summerside and Kensington police, executed a search warrant at a home in the community on Sept. 21.

RCMP said Monday they seized money, cocaine, methamphetamine, and cannabis. The drugs had an estimated street value of three thousand dollars.

The pair arrested were a 67-year-old woman and a 72-year-old man. They have been given a court date. RCMP did not specify what charges they are facing
