The Mounties say a man was alone at a home in the rural community when four people entered, assaulted him and stole various items. Four suspects were arrested shortly after the incident was reported, with the assistance of the Summerside Police Service.
The victim was treated at a local hospital for minor injuries and released.
The four suspects were still in police custody as of Friday at 11:30 a.m. and RCMP say charges may be laid. The group included one female and three males.
RCMP are not commenting on whether the victim and suspects knew each other, or any other information pertaining to the victim or the suspects.
