Man in jail for breaking podium at P.E.I. curling club

SUMMERSIDE — Charles Turner Moore, 52, of Bideford, pleaded guilty recently on two counts of assault and one count of mischief.

All of the charges are from April 1 in Summerside when he broke a podium that belonged to the Silver Fox Entertainment Complex.

Moore was sentenced to serve 10 days in jail plus one year on probation. He must also pay $200 in victim surcharges.
