In related news, a PNP agent company has filed a court action against the P.E.I. government. 

Yesterday in the legislature, the Opposition said cabinet shouldn’t be the body that chooses a whistleblower watchdog, while PC MLAs pressed the government for more trauma counsellors and funding for a rape crisis line. 

The Opposition also charged the government with not providing enough support for Islanders with autism. 

Finally, the big news of the day was the release of details about the province's legalized marijuana plans.
