Kensington community school is getting ready to kick off with early registration set for Jan. 7.

The 2017 community school classes will be held on Wednesday evenings at 6:45 at Kensington Intermediate and Senior High School and will run until early March (weather permitting).

Early registration will be held at the Kensington legion from 10 a.m. to noon. The cost is $20 and people 12 years and older are available to sign up.

There will be light refreshments and 50/50 available.

Regular registration will be held on the first night of classes, Jan. 11, with registration running from 6 to 6:45 p.m.

Classes being offered include:

-Accordion

-Beginner guitar

-Beginner keyboarding (by ear)

-Choir

-Card games (crib and auction)

-Craft-a-night

-Crocheting

-Diamond art (pictures in jewels)

-Digital photography

-Knitting

-Leatherworking

-Painting

-Spanish

-Swedish embroidery

-Tatting

-Toast master and speech craft

-Tole painting
