All Island businesses and organizations are being urged to participate in a short green economy survey.

RDÉE Prince Edward Island, the provincial francophone economic development council, has hired Mathieu Arsenault, the president from Think Forward Solutions, to manage the survey.

Arsenault will gather the results to better understand the state of the developing green economy on P.E.I. Potential employment opportunities in this sector will also be identified.

"The green economy is comprised of all businesses and organizations that take any action with the intention of reducing resource consumption, harmful emissions and forms of environmental impact," explained Arsenault.

The survey, which will take between four and nine minutes to complete, is aimed at both Anglophone and Francophone businesses and organizations.

The deadline to complete the survey is Friday, March 31.

To encourage participation, organizers will make a random draw for a $100 among all who complete the survey, and provide their name. The survey can also be filled anonymously, but those who do so won't be eligible for the prize.
