This is an unscheduled price adjustment. Fuel prices are usually only adjusted at the beginning and middle of each month.
Diesel prices will also take a jump, increasing 4.5 cents per litre.

Gas prices will remain unchanged at between 103.3 and 104.4 cents per litre.
This price hike comes as Prince Edward Island is in the middle of an extreme cold warning, with a wind chill of -35 C Tuesday morning.
